Passport Services

The City of Lake Forest received notice from the Passport
Services Section of the U.S. Department of State that its
status has been re-categorized and it is no longer able to
offer passport processing services.
Because services at City Hall include vital records
(birth and death certificates), the City of Lake Forest is
considered to be a “dual function facility” whereby, for
public safety reasons, the federal government has enforced a
physical separation of functions and a complete separation
of personnel for these functions.
Passport services continue to be offered at the following
