HOME RULE IN LAKE FOREST
Resident
Suggestion Program
An integral part of the City’s
organizational culture is “doing more with less.” Employees
constantly challenge themselves to find ways to provide
quality service at the lowest possible cost. Over the past
five years, the City has documented in its Productivity Fund
the savings of over $40 million – directly benefiting the tax
payers of Lake Forest. These savings are a result of improved
efficiencies, outsourcing and partnerships; however, the City
continues to look for ways to do even better. One way is to
reach out to Lake Forest residents to solicit their ideas and
suggestions as to ways the City can improve upon the delivery
of service to its constituency.
We would like your ideas as to how the City can:
1) reduce its expenses without impacting health and public
safety,
2) identify new revenue sources, or
3) address changes in service levels and resident
expectations.
If you have thoughts to share, please send an email to
cityhall@cityoflakeforest.com. Please send only plain text
messages and include your name, address and phone #
(optional).
Once you have submitted your idea, an acknowledgement will
be sent to you and the suggestion
will be forwarded to the City Council's Finance Committee or
Compensation, Personnel and Administration Committee for
discussion. You will then be
notified of the committee's action. The committees generally
meet once a month.
