Volunteer Profile
The City of Lake Forest encourages dedicated and civic-minded
residents to participate in their local government. The first step
for any resident interested in serving the City in an elected or
appointed position is to complete a Volunteer
Profile Sheet
(64k - 3 pages). Profile Sheets may
also be obtained from the Office of the City Manager.
An additional page(s) or a resume may be attached to the
Volunteer Profile Sheet if more space is needed to answer any of the
questions or to provide a more complete picture of a candidate's
background and experience.
Completed Volunteer Profile Sheets for any position may be
delivered or mailed to City Hall, Office of the City Manager, 220
East Deerpath, Lake Forest. Volunteer Profile Sheets for individuals appointed to City
positions become public information and are filed at the Lake Forest
Library and City Hall.

and selecting candidates for appointed positions, please contact the
Office of the City Manager at 847-810-3672 or the organization of

students who will be high school seniors during their year
of service are appointed by the Lake Forest Mayor and work
alongside other community volunteers whose dedicated work
continues to ensure that Lake Forest remain a special place.
This involvement with their local government helps them
develop lifelong leadership and business skills.
