Bike-to-Metra Brochures

The City of Lake Forest
is participating in a grant received by the
League of Illinois Bicyclists to prepare a "Bike to Metra" brochure
once the Bicycle Master Plan is completed. City staff would
like to thank the League of Illinois Bicyclists,
all of the Lake Forest residents and visiting
cyclists who participated in the photo-shoot in
October. Those photographs will enhance the
brochure while showcasing enthusiasm for bicycling
in Lake Forest.

Over 60 residents of Lake
Forest and Lake Bluff participated in two public
workshops to assist the project team in gathering data for
the plan. Participants worked together at tables
of 5-6 people to identify key issues related to
biking including local destinations, regional
connections, dream routes, and hazards. These findings are critical in preparing
the final Bicycle Master Plan. Click on the links
below to download maps summarizing the information
discovered during those workshops.
