Boards & Commissions
The Community Development Department is responsible for
staffing six of the City's Boards and Commissions including the
Building Review Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Plan
Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Housing Trust
and Construction Codes Commission. To find out more specific

below are the 2012 regular meeting dates and the submittal
deadline for
public meetings. The * indicated below in the meeting
schedule is a change in the normally Complete applications must be submitted
on or before the deadline for each meeting. Meeting dates
are subject to change as provided by law.
Building Review Board
The Building Review
Board meets the first Wednesday of the month at
6:30pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

City Boards and Commissions Hard at Work
The City of Lake Forest has many Boards and Commissions. Several of the Boards and Commissions deal with development related issues. The Boards and Commissions are made up of Lake Forest
residents who volunteer their time to ensure that Lake
Forest remains a special place. Many of the Board and
Commission meetings are broadcast on Cable television
station 17. Tune in or attend a meeting to see these groups
in action. Agendas for the meetings are posted on the City's
Web page.
