Recycling Cart Purchase
Recycling Containers -- The City of Lake Forest
implemented the first phase of replacing all recycling bins
with wheeled recycling carts. All households that did not
receive a cart in 2011 will receive one in the fall of 2012.
Every household will receive one free cart. Due to the
City’s new efficient, automated pick-up, once your new cart
is delivered, your existing bins can no longer be used for
recycling. You are welcome to keep your bins to use for
other purposes, or If you wish to have your old bin(s)
recycled, place them next to your new recycling cart on your
pick-up day with a note attached stating, “please remove.”
Residents can purchase an additional 65-gallon cart for
$55 or a 35-gallon cart for $50. If you would like to order
