Lake Forest employs over 250 full-time workers, plus an additional 250 seasonal and summer workers. We have positions ranging from clerical to financial, from maintenance to computers, from planning to geographic information, from recreation and parks to food service, and from forestry to refuse collection.

In Lake Forest, we pride ourselves on the high level of service provided to our residents. It was not by accident that the Robb Report named Lake Forest as the third most livable community in the country. We hold extremely high standards for our employees, and at the same time provide competitive salaries and an outstanding benefit package.

We take our core values seriously and hire people with similar personal values. Our core values are:

Integrity:        Unconditional adherence to our moral and ethical values.
Respect:        Being considerate and accepting of others.
Trust:            Being dependable, demonstrating confidence and faith in others and
being willing to let go and to empower others.
Excellence:   Commitment to professional growth, teamwork, optimum community
service, and doing what is right.

You will find employees empowered to make decisions and a strong sense of teamwork. One of our greatest strengths is the ability to pull together and make things work!

If this sounds like a team you want to join, just visit our employment opportunity section to find out what is available.
