The Public Works Department offices are located in the Municipal Services Building at 800 N. Field Drive. The department is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Public Works Department consists of eight operating sections that provide high-quality services to the citizens of Lake Forest. These sections include Streets & Sanitation, Water/Sewer, Cemetery, Water Plant, Engineering, Fleet Maintenance, and Building Maintenance. You can access more information on the specific sections by selecting the links above.

The mission of the Public Works Department is to respond to community needs consistent with policies determined by the City Council, maintain a working environment built upon trust, respect and citizen involvement, and achieve the City’s goal of being responsive to resident needs.
