Effective January 1, 2012, the Illinois Electronic Products Recycling and Reuse Act will prohibit the disposal of electronic waste (e-waste) in landfills, to include the following:

Printers
Scanners
Televisions
Digital converter boxes
Electronic keyboards
Cable receivers
Fax machines
