On-Line Registration Tips
Plan Ahead - look through our offerings ahead of time to
make your registration run smoothly.
Obtain your User ID and PIN in advance
You must have an email address on file to obtain a User
ID and PIN to register via LFRec.com. Please email
lfrec@cityoflakeforest.com to have an email address
added to your account.
You will need to retrieve your User ID and PIN after your
email address has been updated.
- Go to http://LFRec.com
- Click the My Account tab
- Click Retrieve Account Information
- Enter the email address associated with your account
You will receive and email from
lfrec@cityoflakeforest.com in about twenty minutes. If you
do not receive an email, call the Recreation Center Office at
847-234-6700 Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30
p.m.
We Need to Know if Your Child is in Kindergarten or
First Grade
Many programs and camps are set up with grade, not age,
parameters. A grade needs to be associated with your child
to register via LFRec.com. Please contact the Recreation
Department if you have a kindergartener or first grader or if you are new to
the community. Email
lfrec@cityoflakeforest.com or call the Recreation Center
Office at 847-234-6700 Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m.
and 4:30 p.m.
Scheduled Payments
Many camps have the option of paying a deposit at the
time of registration with the balance being due later.
Here is how to pay only the deposit when you register:
- Logon to your account at
LFRec.com
- Select a camp
- Select a user (registrant) from the drop down list
- Place a check in the box beside the word "Schedule?"
in the Cost column
- Select Continue Shopping or Check Out
Be Patient
Everyone wants to register on-line as soon as
registration starts at 8:30 a.m. If you do not get in right away,
please be patient. Try again in
a few minutes. You will get access as soon as others complete
their registration and log off their account. Remember, LFRec.com can complete registrations much faster than in-office registrations.
Be Considerate
Please do not spend time browsing offerings during the
first few hours of registrations. Plan ahead, make your
selections, check out, log out and allow your neighbor to
complete their registration.
