The award winning dancers of LFDA’s Performance Companies have been locally and nationally recognized for their dedication and passion to the art of dance. The companies are designed to give dancers an opportunity to take their training to the next level, gain performance experience, and share their talent with their community. Members perform choreography from highly credited directors and guest artists while gaining invaluable friendships and self-esteem. Auditions for these groups are held annually in May and are open to all students wanting to share their love of dance.

	"A performing company designed to prepare aspiring dancers for the next level of performances." Prelude Dance Theatre (PDT) was formed in 2001 to give dancers an opportunity to enhance their training and gain performance experiences as well as share their talent with the community. PDT performs choreography in various techniques including ballet, jazz & modern. Directors: Valerie Gonzalez and Kim Fletcher. PDT Members (27k - 2 pages)
	“A tap dance company that is pleasing to the eyes and ears.” Euphony Tap Ensemble (ETE) was formed in 2003. ETE is designed to give tappers an opportunity to enhance their training and gain performance experience as well as share their talent with the community. Directors: Heather Goodrich Kiely and Jenna Jozefowski. ETE Members (21k - 1 page)
	“Hip hop, the dance of the streets, is always evolving.” Hip Hop Evolution (HHE) was formed in 2010. HHE is designed to give dancers an opportunity to explore varying styles of hip hop movement while building confidence, strength and rhythmic precision. 	"Sing, Dance, Act…Applause!" SpotLight Musical Theatre was formed in 2010. SpotLight Musical Theatre is designed to provide solo and small group ensemble projects for students which give them the opportunity to sing, dance and act in short productions.
