Squash Professional, Serena Carbonell, will provide skill
enhancement, fitness and agility
training as well as fun activities to strengthen your
hand-eye coordination both on and
off the squash court.

Membership Benefits:
- Challenge court participation allowed for members
only: Squash - Saturdays from 7:00am to 10:00am
- Reduced program and private lesson fees
- May participate in leagues.
- Photo ID card issued which allows use of Fitness
Center locker rooms and towel service (must be minimum
14 years old)
- Youth under age 14 are included with valid family
membership
NOTE: A membership is valid for 1 year from the day it
was purchased.
Membership Options and Fees:
Fitness Center Member: See fitness center staff for
membership types. Racquet court hourly rental fees apply and
must be paid for by fitness center members.
Racquet Member: Once 12-month membership fee is paid,
hourly court fees apply.
$75 annually for Lake Forest Residents
$90 annually for Non-Residents
$5 Guest Fee in addition to court fees for non-members

LAKE
FOREST SQUASH PROGRAM
Serena Carbonell, is the new
Squash Professional at the Lake Forest Recreation Center.
Serena began her squash career as a 9 year old growing up on
the East Coast. She competed as a top-ranked junior,
captained and played #1 for Westminster School (CT), and
while playing squash for Trinity College (CT), Serena was
awarded Second Team All-American from 1994 - 1996. After
graduating from Trinity, Serena was the Assistant Squash Pro
at the Westmoor Club on Nantucket Island during the 2006
summer season. She is an active member of US Squash, a US
Squash Level 1 Certified Coach and Club Referee as well as
being involved with the Illinois Squash Association (ISA)
and a supporter of the METROsquash urban league. For the
past two years, Serena has been the Head Squash Coach for
Lake Forest Academy and will continue for the 2012 - 2013
season.

USSRA Referee Exam Study
Mandatory exam for juniors seeking a national ranking or
adults who wish to be better players, this two part course
will assist you in passing the United States Squash Racquets
Association’s Club Referee Exam. In the first hour, we will
cover rules and watch a video with examples of lets and
strokes. In the second hour we will take the open book exam.
Cost for the two part class is $60.
Racquet Stringing and Regripping
Lake Forest Court Sports offers certified racquet stringing
and re-gripping with next day service. Cost varies based on
stringing and grip types.
Match Videotaping and Analysis
Looking for a way to improve your match performance? We are
available to videotape your match and analyze winners and
errors per game. The analysis will help determine which game
components to work on. Cost is $25 per hour.
