Team Formation
The Recreation Department Staff will assign teams based on
the participant’s skill level and evaluation rating to
ensure fair and equal teams. For administrative and program
continuity reasons, we are not accepting any special
requests or considerations for team assignments. All
participants will attend a practice session coached by
professional level coaches during the first two weeks of the
program and then be evaluated by the Recreation Department
staff during the third week prior to team assignments.
Volunteer Coaches
Parent volunteer coaches and assistant coaches are needed for
each team. Parents may request to coach with one other
parent in order to work out their personal schedule. If
you are interested in helping out, please contact Anthony
Anaszewicz, Program Manager, at 847-810-3945. Coaches will
receive league playing rules, an American Sport Education
Baseball Coaching Instruction Book, and run through a mock
practice session.
Sponsorships
Opportunities exist within the Youth Basketball Program
to be a team sponsor. You can sponsor your son’s or daughter’s
team, and your designated sponsorship name will be placed on
the back of your team shirts. All funds received help offset the cost of program
clothing and equipment. If you are interested in sponsoring a team(s), please mark it on the
registration form
provided in this link. If
you would like to learn more about sponsorships, please phone
Anthony Anaszewicz, Program Manager, at 847-810-3945. Fill out the
form today and become a sponsor of our youth programs.
