Spring is a time of renewal, not just for nature, but
also for our personal rejuvenation! Join us for this series
of workshops focused on the mind/body connection,
preventative health and overall well-being. As we age,
changes take place in our bodies. We'll explore ways to
compensate for these changes and help you enhance both your
well-being and quality of life. Be fit, be mindful, be well!
Body/Mind Healing for Seniors with Devi Stern, M.S.
Thursday May 17 1pm
Devi will share the benefits of energy medicine, with
exercises for enhancing memory, joint health and blood
pressure reduction. The workshop includes a '5 minute
routine' for daily practice and handouts will be provided
for continued practice.

and the easy elegant. You can make new pathways through
gentle movements that restore mobility, and improve
breathing. Join us for a 4 week series of 1 hour classes--we
will sit in chairs for this series. Feldenkrais is a service

The Chief County Assessment office and township
Assessors will be here to assist residents in completing the
2012 Senior Citizens Assessment Freeze Application for taxes
payable in 2013, and to help taxpayers sign up for other
appropriate exemptions. Residents will work with a staff
member one-on-one to complete necessary forms.
Qualifications are: 65 years or older; own and live in the
property for the past two Jan 1's; 2011 income $55,000 or
less. Bring your 2011 tax return and Social Security
Statement (SSA-1099) and proof of beneficiary if the house
is held in a Trust. No appointment required.
