Cable television is available through Comcast cable. For
installation or service, please call the Comcast at 1-866-594-1234. The City of Lake Forest
franchise agreement with Comcast requires the availability of cable
television for all households, if residents desire the service.

Cable subscribers living within the corporate limits of
Lake Forest receive two channels originating from Lake
Forest which carry programming and information of interest
to residents of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff:
City 17 is the Government Access TV station,
which is home to broadcasts of the Lake Forest board and
commission meetings live from City Hall, and original
programming that promotes City services, news, and local
events.
The public access channel, LFTV 19, airs
parades, school events ranging from sporting events to graduation,
interviews with civic leaders, governmental meetings and other programs
of local interest. Lake Forest and Lake Bluff residents have a unique
opportunity to participate first-hand in the production of television
programs for airing on channel 19. Training programs, requisite to
producing programs for viewing on LFTV 19 are available free of charge to
Lake Forest and Lake Bluff residents.
