Join the City and the Lake Forest Preservation Foundation for a candid discussion moderated by Ed McMahon, a Senior Fellow at the Urban Land Institute, Washington, D.C.

Ed is known for his powerfu TED Talks and his work in sustainable development, economic development and historic preservation.  He argues persuasively that distinctiveness is the key to attracting residents and building a community's economy.

Ed will present an objective look at what we have that is special and unique in Lake Forest and how to tacke current issues without losing our distinctiveness.  This discussion will contribute to the City's Strategic Plan and will also shed light on the Preservation Foundation's goal to protect compatibility in style and setting, and to create harmony with the larger whole of Lake Forest.

The program is FREE of charge, but reservations are appreciated.  To sign up online, visit the Preservation Foundation website, or call 847.234.1230.
