Important Flooding Information

letter from Mayor Lansing and the Lake Forest City Council containing important flooding information was mailed to all residents and P.O. boxes on July 27.  If your basement or yard consistently floods, please consider scheduling a free consultation. Contact Jim Lockefeer, Public Works Analyst, at 847.810.3542.  

While flooding is occurring, please call 847.810.3571.  

If you are experiencing a power outage, please call ComEd at 1-888-EDISON-1 (1-888-334-7661).

If you have flood debris, it may be disposed at the City's Compost Center.  As a reminder, summer hours at the Compost Center (1381 W. Kennedy Road) are on Saturdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.  

Natural disasters are often followed by illegitimate companies targeting victims of these calamities. Please be aware of these scams and never give out any personal information.
