Lake County has received a State Disaster Proclamation due to the widespread flooding in our region. This can open the door for possible federal assistance. Disaster recovery is a multi-step process starting with an initial damage assessment, which is now underway.
As part of this assessment, The City of Lake Forest is encouraging interested residents affected by the storms to complete the Lake County Flood Impact Report Form no later than Monday, July 24 at 1 p.m.
The link may be found here.
Resident completion of the Lake County Flood Impact Report Form is a critical step to determine federal assistance eligibility. Please note that completing this form does not guarantee federal assistance.
