Lake Forest’s 32nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join us for The City's Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!

Schedule of Events:

2:00 p.m. - Children’s holiday movie, Home Alone 1 @ Gorton Community Center
3:00 p.m. - Live Ice Sculpting Performance by Art Below Zero
4:00 p.m. - Meet Santa Claus in Market Square
4:30 p.m. - Caroling by Lake Forest High School Choristers
5:00 p.m. - LFDA holiday performance companies
5:15 p.m. - Lights set aglow

New this Year:  The Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation has partnered with local businesses in Market Square to provide a unique Passport of Retailers activity from 2:30 - 5:00pm. Visit all participating local businesses and get your passport stamped to be entered in a drawing to win a free family VIP pass to the Annual 4th of July Festival valued at $350.

Santa’s Calling

Let your child experience the joy of hearing Santa’s voice and watch the magic of the holiday season fill their hearts. Santa will be making his annual phone calls to children to find out what is on their list and spread some cheer.

Holiday Extrava-Dance-A  

Kick off your holiday season with swinging Santas, a
Rockette kick-line and so much more! Join the
Performance Companies of Lake Forest Dance

ANNUAL HOLIDAY ART SALE – Dec. 11 & 12, 2015
Just in time for holiday gift giving, you can meet the artists in person and come away with some unique and beautiful gifts for everyone on your list! Choose from one of kind items of pottery, jewelry, glass, paintings and more.
