Jazz Jumps and Turns classes build on the skills learned in our Jazz and Poms technique classes with a specific focus on turns, leaps and jumps. The first portion of class will be dedicated to stretching, conditioning and technique while the second half will focus on improving turning and jumping skills.

Jumps and Turns I is an extension of our Jazz II and Poms III syllabi and is available to students by teacher recommendation. We will continue to work on flexibility, strength and tricks.

Jumps and Turns II is an extension of our level III Jazz syllabus. Here dancers continue to move forward with layering multiple tricks in fast combinations.

Jumps and Turns III/IV is an extension of our level IV/V jazz syllabus. Dancers will continue to grow with rapid moving combinations filled with direction changes, level changes, multilple turns and leaps.

Strength & Conditioning for Dancers I and II will focus on toning opposing muscle groups to complement and enhance technical dance skills. These classes will promote injury prevention, endurance and muscle strength through the use of resistant bands and other training equipment.
