2020 Election Information

During regular voter registration periods, you may register in-person with a Deputy Registrar at City Hall. City Hall, located at 220 E. Deerpath, is open M-F, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Please note that regular voter registration ends 27 days prior to each election. For the 2020 November election, regular voter registration ends on Tuesday, October 6.  After this date, you may register at the Lake County Clerk's office, any early voting site, or assigned voting site when open. Early Voting in Lake Forest

When?  Early Voting begins on Monday, October 19 and ends on Sunday, November 1.

Where?  City Hall, 220 E. Deerpath, in Lake Forest, or at any of these locations if you are a Lake County resident. 

What are the Hours?

  • Monday-Friday:  8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Saturday-Sunday:  9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Did you Vote by Mail?

For the November 2020 election, Lake County is offering postage-free Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Boxes across Lake County where you can drop off your mail-in ballot. You may visit the County Clerk's website here for a full list of locations where Mail Ballot Drop Boxes are available.
