The City Clerk is custodian of all documents belonging to the City not assigned to the custody of another officer. These documents include City Council meeting minutes, executed contracts, licenses and permits.
The City Clerk also:
acts as the local Registrar for Birth and Death records;
handles Freedom of Information requests for public records;
coordinates election and Voter Registration activities; and
issues landscaping licenses

Nomination paper circulation period is Tuesday, September 3 through Monday, December 2, 2019.
Independent and new political party candidates can file nomination papers in the office of the City Clerk at City Hall for the March General Primary Election beginning Monday, November 25, 2019 through Monday, December 2, 2019.
City Hall will remain open on December 2 until 5 p.m. Regular office hours are M-F, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Please note that City Hall will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26.
