Public Education

The Lake Forest Fire Department's Public Education team teaches the community how to be fire safe in all walks of life. Check out the Safety tips listed under the documents tab to help you and your family better understand different scenarios.

We understand that teaching children about fire safety can be tricky. But thanks to Sparky the Fire Dog, that task has been made a little easier. Visit http://www.sparky.org/ for activities, games and safety tips to help you explain to your children about fire safety.

If you have questions or would like to learn how we can better serve you, please contact the Fire Prevention Bureau at 847-810-3891.
