Please note that by registering for weather alerts, you will receive an automatic notification each time the National Weather Service updates the warning. These updates could be made multiple times during the same storm system. Should you wish to remove all weather alerts from your account, please uncheck the box.
The City's Emergency Notification System allows Lake Forest Police and Fire to more efficiently reach out to the public in case of an emergency event. Residents should continue to call 911 in case of an emergency.
Examples of times when the emergency system can be utilized include instances of: drinking water contamination, utility outage, evacuation notice and routes, missing persons, fires or floods, chemical spills or gas leaks, and other public safety emergency incidents where rapid and accurate notification is essential for life safety.
Lake Forest resident and business landline telephone numbers have been downloaded from telephone company records however, please don't assume that your registration is complete. You should log in to create a profile and verify your contact information, add a cell phone or work phone to the notification list or customize your contact information, by clicking on the Code Red logo below. You may update your contact information or modify it at any time by logging into the Emergency Notification System.
