Citizens Police Academy

Our Spring 2018 session will will begin on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
The program is designed to promote and enhance citizen understanding and awareness of the role of the Lake Forest Police Department within our community. The objective of the course is not to prepare graduates to become police officers, but instead, to instill in citizens a greater general knowledge of the many functions of LFPD.

The Lake Forest Police Department's Citizens Police Academy celebrates the completion of its 23rd session with the graduation of our Fall 2017 class. We congratulate them for their energy and commitment and hope our officers were able to give them a view of the world through the “law enforcement lens”.
