Timeless choices for families and individuals.Lake Forest Cemetery offers a range of burial choices, including family estate lots, monument lots, individual lots and cremation lots.In addition, the Cemetery is also home to an above-ground Columbarium Wall that offers niches for cremains. The Memorial Gardens along this 260-foot wall include The Fountain Garden, The Spire Garden, The Evergreen Garden, The Lake Garden and The Alcove, each private and uniquely beautiful. The Memorial Garden walkway, with its limestone walls and arched flying buttress, polished black granite niche faces, and bluestone paving, is reminiscent of a European church yard.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
Current Lake Forest residents who reside within the city limits (does not include those living in areas with a Lake Forest mailing address) are able to purchase grave lots and niches.
Verified former Lake Forest residents and current Lake Bluff residents (does not include those living in Knollwood or other unincorporated areas with a Lake Bluff mailing address) are able to purchase grave lots at 200% the resident rate and niches at 125% the resident rate. Options range in price and style. In-ground choices for casket burials and burials of cremated remains are presented in both park-like and monument sections. Niches for the inurnment of cremated remains in the Memorial Garden columbarium and lots for the construction of private family mausoleums are also available.
