Latest Construction Update
Updated July 29, 2021

On Deerpath Road:

Good news – work has been completed ahead of schedule, so Deerpath Road will be restored to two lanes next week! Additionally, access to all Route 41 entrance and exit ramps will reopen. Crews anticipate Deerpath will be open on Wednesday, August 4 – just in time for Lake Forest Day!

Crews need about a day to remove the barricades and officially open Deerpath up to two lanes between Ahwahnee Lane and the Route 41 Viaduct. While work continues on the pump station, there may be some intermittent lane closures with flaggers directing traffic.

At the southeast corner:
The framing and installation of rebar for the pump station building will continue the week of August 2. Materials will be delivered to the job site and construction activities for the building will continue throughout the summer. Trucks will be entering and leaving the job site most of this week. Control measures, such as signage and flaggers, will be in place to direct traffic in and around this area.
On Deerpath Golf Course:
Landscaping activities will continue around Detention Pond #1 (west pond) and Detention Pond #2 (east pond) the week of August 2.
