Permit Applications

The Lake Forest Fire Department oversees permits relating to bonfires, ceremonial burns, fireworks, and open/prescribed burns. Permits must be submitted two weeks in advance. Applicants must adhere to all rules, regulations, and ordinances (review individual permit). Applications submitted without required supporting documents will not be accepted. Permit application submissions are preferred via email , but also accepted by U.S. mail, fax, or walk-in at the Public Safety Building (255 W Deerpath).
Approved permits will be listed on the Authorized Burning/Fireworks page for public knowledge.
