The Illinois Drones as First Responders Act was signed by Governor JB Pritzker on June 16, 2023.

In compliance with the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) Section 725 Chapter 167/35 (c)

Each law enforcement agency that uses a drone shall implement and make publicly available on its website the law enforcement agency's policy governing the operation, use, administration, and oversight of its drone program. (725 ILCS 167/35 (c))
