Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry
Sally has worked for the City as the Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry since 2015 and as an employee of the City since 1997. She has her BA in Business Administration-Management from Carthage College.
In this role Sally provides management leadership for the Recreation, Parks, Golf, Forestry and Cemetery sections of the City. Sally is responsible for the programming and service delivery at Lake Forest Beach, the Wildlife Discovery Center, Deerpath Golf Course, Recreation Center and Stirlng Hall. The Department is also responsible for managing the City's urban forest, over 600 acres of park land and the community's bike trails. Sally also provides leadership for Senior Services at Dickinson Hall and Youth Services at CROYA. Her role includes oversight for the Parks and Recreation Board, Friends of Parks and Recreation Foundation, the Cemetery Commission, Senior Resource Commission and The CROYA Adult Board. Sally also serves on the Board of Director’s for the North Suburban Special Recreation Association.
