Award-winning WBEZ reporter and author, Natalie Moore, will deliver the talk “Chicago and Regional Segregation” at 7 p.m. on February 11 at Lake Forest College, 555 N. Sheridan Road in the Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel on Middle Campus. A reception will follow.

A Chicago native, Moore covers news on segregation and inequality in Chicago and the suburbs for WBEZ. Her enterprise reporting has tackled race, housing, economic development, food injustice and violence. Moore’s work has been broadcast on the BBC, Marketplace, and NPR’s Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Weekend Edition. In addition, Moore is the author of The South Side: A Portrait of Chicago and American Segregation, which looks at the intersection of race and class in Chicago.
