Join us for our GO Lake Forest 2019 Kick-off Event!

Grab the kids, grandparents, strollers, neighbors, and leashed furry friends and meet at the east LF Metra Station for an energizing Community Walk to kick-off the city-wide GO Lake Forest community wellness movement. 
Our GO Lake Forest Community Walk is a partnership with several Lake Forest community organizations and the Lake County Health Department to promote its new health initiative, GO Lake County. The goal of GO Lake County and GO Lake Forest is to improve the health of Lake County residents by promoting the simple act of walking as means to improve health. Look for other events in town throughout the year promoting healthy living and an active lifestyle. 
Join us and your neighbors in walking your way to better health! 
• We will meet at the downtown Lake Forest Metra Station and walk north along the bike path for 1 mile and turn around walk 1 mile south. 
• Parking will be available at Gorton Community Center and also at the Metra lot located at the northwest corner of Westminster and McKinley. Street parking will also be available. All parking is first-come first-served.
• Souvenir water bottles provided to the first 300 participants.
