Long range planning for the Lake Forest community is a function of the Community Development Department in conjunction with various Boards, Commissions, elected and appointed officials and other interested parties in the community.  It focuses on big picture projects that have a wide reaching community impact.  Long range planning also provides an opportunity to define the vision for Lake Forest which aids in large and small development alike.
