City of Lake Forest, IL

Transportation plays a key role in shaping the quality of life for the residents and the economic growth in a community.  For Lake Forest, this includes working with the existing modes of transportation within the community, but also taking into account the surrounding communities and Lake County's vision for various transportation systems.  The City's Community Development staff work together with other City Departments and outside agencies to develop thoughtful plans that take into consideration growth in the community, while promoting existing systems.
