The Lawrence R. Temple Distinguished Public Service Award

“Larry Temple dedicated himself to making Lake Forest a better community.  He loved Lake Forest and worked hard to protect its character and quality of life.  He had the capacity to relate to and work with people to bring understanding, compromise and solution to difficult issues.  Intelligent, talented and a person of many interests, Larry has left an enduring legacy of public service.  His contributions will be realized by many generations of Lake Foresters.  The Lake Forest community was saddened by the sudden loss of Lawrence R.
