The spring semester of the Lake Forest Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy begins on Wednesday, March 9 at 7 pm!

This eleven-week course teaches participants the ins and outs of law enforcement in Lake County and across the country. Engaging topics include officer training, use of force, traffic crash investigation, juvenile crime, domestic violence, DUI enforcement, forensic evidence, and many more. Students will also have the opportunity to ride along with an officer on patrol and spend an evening on the department's firearms range with an instructor. The CPA is free and open to anyone who lives or works in Lake Forest.
