Did you know the City of Lake Forest has been recognized as Tree City USA 41 consecutive years?

In an effort to promoting the commitment to preserving trees and the continuous greening of Lake Forest, the City's Forestry section and Lake Forest Open Lands are providing residents with free Douglas Fir and Serbian Spruce tree seedlings beginning Wednesday, April 20. 

What better way to celebrate Earth Day (April 22) and Arbor Day (April 29) than planting native trees?

Seedling will be available daily at the locations below while supplies last:
City of Lake Forest locations:

•    West Park
•    South Park
•    Northcroft Park
•    Everett Park
Lake Forest Open Lands locations:
•    Mellody Farm Nature Preserve
•    Middlefork Farm Nature Preserve
•    West Skokie Nature Preserve
•    Everett Farm Nature Preserve
•    Skokie River Nature Preserve
•    Derwen Mawr Nature Preserve
