The City of Lake Forest’s proposed FY22 Budget is now available for public view on the City’s web site.  The proposed budget, which covers operational and capital expenses for the period of May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2022, will be considered for approval by the City Council on April 19.  The proposed revenues for FY2022 total $92.5 million compared to total expenditures of $91.8 million.

The City Council Finance Committee has reviewed various components of the Comprehensive Fiscal Plan for FY2022 at several public meetings over the past seven months.  The Comprehensive Fiscal Plan includes the annual operating and capital budget for FY22, but also incorporates other financial related aspects including the Strategic Plan, financial policies, Five-Year Capital Improvement Program, five year financial forecasting, debt obligations, pay plan and personnel.
