The Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of classes for grade school aged children. These classes embrace the philosophy of providing youth in the community a safe and fun environment to create, engage, explore, build relationship and challenge themselves through classroom activities. Program Coordinator Christine Faudel has over 25 years of experience teaching in Lake Forest and brings energy and excitement to the classroom every day. Quality instructors such as Sej Saed and Computer Explorers instruct a number of classes as well. 
 
Supervision is provided for Everett Elementary students following their release from school. 
 
Classes include the following themes:
Cooking
Wood Working
Creativity
Computer Science
Writing
Craft Development
