The Larry Temple Public Service Award honors a living volunteer in community organizations or local government in the City of Lake Forest for distinguished public service.

Larry Temple dedicated himself to making Lake Forest a better community. He loved Lake Forest and worked hard to protect its character and quality of life. He had the capacity to relate to and work with people to bring understanding, compromise and solution to difficult issues. Intelligent, talented and a person of many interests, Larry has left an enduring legacy of public service. His contributions will be realized by many generations of Lake Foresters.

The Larry Temple Public Service Award Committee is accepting nominations for the 2023 award recipient. Submit a nomination by November 20, 2023.
